Liam Hemsworth has broken his social media silence following his split from Miley Cyrus.

The Australian actor, 29, and Wrecking Ball singer, 26, called it quits at the weekend after seven months of marriage and a decade of dating.

Liam has now said he wishes Miley ‘nothing but health and happiness’, while sharing a snap of a beach sunset on Instagram on Tuesday.

‘Hi all. Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward,’ he wrote.

The actor, who has apparently extended his stay Down Under amid the split, added: ‘Peace and Love.’

It comes after Miley’s rep confirmed the split to People, stating: ‘Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time.

‘Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.’

Last week, Miley was seen kissing Kaitlynn Carter in Italy’s Lake Como not long after she too announced the end of her marriage to Brody Jenner (who’s been getting sassy on the ‘gram since).

Miley has also broken her silence since the split, sharing snaps of her posing in an Italian ski resort and saying that life is a ‘climb’.

Brody Jenner’s mate and The Hills co-star Brandon Thomas Lee believes Miley Cyrus is ‘messing’ with Liam Hemsworth by kissing Kaitlynn Carter in the wake of her split.

The singer was seen locking lips with Brody’s recently-ex-wife Kaitlynn as the two holidayed in Italy last week.

Just a day after photos emerged, Miley’s reps confirmed she too had ended her marriage alongside Liam after nearly a year. And hearts broke around the world.

The two had been dating for 10 years after meeting on the 2009 set of The Last Song and it felt like a wrecking ball to the heart, we have to say.

But while we’re left wondering what went wrong as we pick up the pieces of our shattered expectations on Hollywood marriages yet again (sorry, too much?) Brandon has voiced his feelings about it all after he was dragged in alongside Brody.

Seems he’s just not buying whatever is going on between Miley and Kaitlynn (despite claims saying they’re ‘just having fun’).

Brandon has been in the thick of the ‘controversy’ after he waded into the middle of it alongside Brody when they started commenting on Instagram posts left right and centre.

Brody – who confirmed his split with Kaitlynn just moments before Miley and Liam – posted earlier in the week a shot of himself in Malibu with the caption: ‘Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.’

His mate replied by suggesting they ‘round this scandal out and post a pic of us making out.’

After that, Brody replied: ‘Watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon.’

Of course Miley was alerted to all of this, as she clapped back: ‘@brodyjenner go take a nap in your truck and cool off #HotGirlSummer.’

Asked whether ‘something went down’ between Miley and Kaitlynn before, Brandon said: ‘I don’t know. They’re all so crazy. I would almost probably assume that.

‘I have no interest in this situation at all. Like, zero percent.

‘I was just curious as of why this blew up so much, and I forgot Miley has so many fans.’

They say all you need to get over a breakup is some salt water, or something like that, and Liam Hemsworth is all about that life as he took to the waves on Tuesday.

The actor recently broke his silence on his split from Miley Cyrus but nothing was going to get in the way of him hitting the sandy shores of Byron Bay for a sesh on the sea.

The 29-year-old Hunger Games actor has been laying low in Australia with his brother Chris Hemsworth amid his split, surfing and working out.

Taking off back down under over a week ago he was in his home country when confirmation hit on Sunday Miley and Liam’s marriage was over, nearly a year after they tied the knot.

Clad in a wetsuit and carrying his board under his right arm this week, Liam held up his left hand to display the lack of wedding band as he headed to the surf.

Understandably he didn’t look his chirpy larrikin self, but what do you expect eh?

The 29-year-old looked pretty distraught as he emerged from the surf at Byron Bay, where he’s staying at his brother Chris’s mansion.

Liam raised a hand to his face as he walked out of the ocean in a wetsuit, with his surfboard under his right arm, and it looked like the surfing session didn’t raise his spirits.

The Hunger Games star confirmed overnight that he and Miley, 26, have separated after 10 years on-and-off and an eight-month marriage.

Along with a picture of a sunset, the actor wrote: ‘Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.’

This comes after Miley’s rep announced the break-up on 11 August, leaving us with the realisation that love is dead.

This week Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth announced they were ending their marriage, less than a year after tying the knot in Tennesse.

However while their marriage was relatively short-lived, the couple has been dating on-and-off for 10 years and first became engaged in 2012.

So, while the figures may fluctuate according to whatever source you’re seeing, there’s no doubt these two are minted AF.

The scene of their wedding, Miley bought a Franklin home in Tennessee that sits on 33.5 acres for $5.8million (£4.7million).

It seems Brody’s mum Linda is also on his side in the situation, as the 69-year-old wrote on Instagram: ‘When feelings are ineffable, often it is better to say nothing at all #speechless.’

Brody and Kaitlynn started dating in 2013, and they tied the knot last year in Indonesia.

However, it’s since been claimed they were never legally married.

While Kaitlynn is off having fun with Miley, it’s claimed that Brody is also moving on, having hung out with 22-year-old model Josie Canseco after being introduced by mutual friends Frankie Delgado and Brandon Lee.

However, things aren’t too serious between Brody and the daughter of baseball legend Jose Canseco, with a source telling E! News: ‘Brody has been talking to her a little bit, but they aren’t dating. They know each other and have figured out that they have a lot of friends in common in Malibu.

‘Of course, he finds her very attractive. They’ve seen each other and it could turn into something. But to say they are dating is a little bit premature.’

Avengers’ Chris Hemsworth has been busy showing off Thor’s new cape as his present from his wife Elsa Pataky has melted everyone’s hearts.

Soon after their break-up was confirmed, the We Can’t Stop singer made headlines as she was pictured kissing Kaitlynn Carter during a getaway to Lake Como.

However, an insider has now claimed that, despite the 26-year-old having a wild reputation, it was actually the Hunger Games actor’s ‘partying’ that is to blame for their relationship breaking down.

‘Everyone always thinks Miley is problematic and immature and a hardcore partier while he’s this chill surfer dude, but that’s actually [not accurate],’ a friend of the couple claimed.

‘Liam parties with his friends, and Miley thinks he should’ve grown out of that by now.’

They also hinted the 29-year-old can get ‘moody’ in private, something that the Hannah Montana actress has found ‘tough’.

‘She’s been supportive of him when things get dark, but it’s tough,’ another source told People. ‘That’s something that has weighed on Miley and their relationship. He can also lash out at her, and he hates the attention their ups and downs bring.’

Discussing those kissing pictures of Miley and Kaitlynn, they added that, while she’s ‘trying to push Liam’s buttons’, she’s ‘hurt’ by how things have fallen apart between the pair, and is ‘putting on a good face’ to cover that up.

Brody Jenner’s mum Linda Thompson has weighed in on her son’s split from Kaitlynn Carter – by saying she’s staying silent and liking some pretty shady comments.

Bit awkward.

The pair split back in July after getting married last year, with Kaitlynn recently being spotted kissing Miley Cyrus during a holiday to Italy.

Linda took to Instagram, expressing her feelings by means of a Dalai Lama quote.

‘Silence is sometimes the best answer’, it read, with Linda captioning the post: ‘When feelings are ineffable, often it is better to say nothing at all. #speechless.’

However, she went on to like a few shady comments about Kaitlynn.

‘Speechless is right! When you are married to Brody or Liam [Hemsworth], I mean some of the best looking guys on this planet. What the heck?!’ one said.

One more comment that got a like from Linda read: ‘I think she’s so hurt and trying to get his attention!! Not the way to do it but sad all around!’

It’s not the only shade that’s been thrown around recently, after Brody, 35, mocked his ex-wife kissing Miley Cyrus.

He uploaded a snap of himself posing in front of the sea and suggested he was shrugging off news his ex was moving on with Miley, as he wrote: ‘Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.’

That prompted a response from his Hills: New Beginnings co-star Brandon Lee, who poked fun at Miley and Kaitlynn by commenting: ‘Let’s round this scandal out and post a pic of us making out.’

Brody then brought Miley’s ex Liam into it, replying: ‘Watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon.’

But, the plot thickens, as Miley wasn’t having any of it.

The pair split last month after a year of marriage, with their reps confirming in a statement: ‘Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter have decided to amicably separate.

Miley Cyrus has been sharing cryptic posts about growth and life being ‘a climb’ in the wake of her split from Liam Hemsworth, but has yet to comment on her apparent romance with Kaitlynn Carter.

And her older sister Brandi – who was holidaying in Lake Como with Miley, 26, and Kaitlyn, 30 – isn’t about to spill the tea.

Brandi, 32, said she’d been supporting her sister following her split from husband Liam, 29, and that the Wrecking Ball singer will speak about the situation when she’s good and ready.

Speaking on the Your Favourite Things podcast, which she co-hosts with Wells Adams, Brandi said: ‘The only think I am going to address is I ask people to respect our privacy while on vacation. It’s not my business to talk about and it’s nothing anything of mine to tell.

‘There’s nothing I can really say. I just, I’m here for her, obviously, and I’ve been spending a lot of time with her.

‘When [Miley’s] ready to talk about it or whatever, then she will.’

One thing’s for sure – it seems Brandi is pro-Kaitlynn, as she left numerous compliments beneath the reality star’s holiday pics including ‘boom boom boooooom!’ and ‘GUSHING’ under Kaitlynn’s selfie with Miley.

Kaitlynn, who split from husband Brody Jenner last month, was pictured kissing newly single Miley by the pool in Lake Como, and the ladies were together as they landed back in Los Angeles.

The Hunger Games star Liam is currently waiting out the storm in Australia, where he’s staying with his big brother Chris.

The actor looked pretty distraught as he tried to take his mind off things with a surfing session, and multiple rumours are flying around about why his and Miley’s eight-month marriage has come to an end.

It has been claimed that Liam’s partying wound up his wife, while other sources allege it was Miley who couldn’t be tamed.

There have also been claims that the pair – who have been together on and off for 10 years – could get back together at some point.

An insider told People: ‘They are having a break right now because they needed it. It was a bad situation with a lot of disagreements

Miley Cyrus has been seen in Los Angeles alongside Kaitlynn Carter for the first time after they were photographed kissing in Italy amid her split with Liam Hemsworth.

Not keen to part ways just yet, the two were seen with 26-year-old Miley behind the wheel of her shiny black car after touching down in a private jet on Wednesday.

They’d been spending some cosy days by the sea near Lake Como alongside Miley’s sister Brandi, with news of her marriage ending to Australian actor Liam breaking at the same time.

Now in LA, both Miley and 30-year-old Kaitlynn – who split with husband Brody Jenner, 35, earlier this month – faced the music as they cruised along the street, stopping to look at their phones while halted at a traffic light.

With their uncombed holiday hair on display, the two appeared engaged in conversation as they pointed and gesticulated at…something.

Perhaps a little weary with the palaver that’s been raging behind the scenes, Miley, who was dressed casually in a grey t-shirt, appeared frazzled at one point as she rubbed her eyes.

Whether or not they were heading to Miley’s new bachelorette pad in Malibu, next door to her former marital home alongside Liam, 29, or she was simply dropping Kaitlynn off isn’t all that clear but it’s evident they’re remaining close as reality sets in.

Heading to social media first, Miley described life as a ‘climb’, harping back to her 2009 banger, while Liam wished his ex-wife nothing but the best when he took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the matter.

Adding it was a ‘private matter’ he ended his message with: ‘Peace and Love.’

If Brody Jenner is put out by his ex-wife snogging Miley Cyrus on holiday, he’s hiding it well.

The Hills: New Beginnings star left a nightclub with model Josie Canseco, after reports claimed the pair were ‘hanging out’ following Brody’s split from Kaitlynn Carter last month.

Brody, 35, was seen leaving Warwick nightclub on Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, followed by Josie, 22, and the pair slid into the back seat of a car accompanied by a female friend.

With two other pals up front, Brody – wearing a baseball cap – and Josie attempted to keep a low profile in the back, but being part of the biggest showbiz story right now, they couldn’t quite avoid the spotlight.

It was claimed that Brody and Josie – the daughter of baseball legend Jose Canseco – are just casually seeing each other after being introduced by mutual pals Frankie Delgado and Brandon Lee.

A source told E! News: ‘Brody has been talking to her a little bit, but they aren’t dating. They know each other and have figured out that they have a lot of friends in common in Malibu.

‘Of course, he finds her very attractive. They’ve seen each other and it could turn into something. But to say they are dating is a little bit premature.’

As well as having a very famous dad, Josie has made a name for herself in modelling, being chosen as Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in June 2016 and making her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut last year.

And perhaps she’ll be able to take Brody’s mind off the current drama, after his ex Kaitlynn, 30 was pictured kissing Miley, 26, just weeks after they announced they had split after one year of marriage.

Miley herself had just announced that her eight month marriage to Liam Hemsworth, 29, was over as well, so as you can imagine, people were shook.

Brody had previously joked about the pictures, after Brandon Lee commented on his Instagram: ‘Let’s round this scandal out and post a pic of us making out’ and he replied: ‘Watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon.’

We wonder what he’ll think of Miley and Kaitlynn arriving back to Los Angeles from Lake Como together…

Just last week, pictures emerged of the grid girl kissing Miley Cyrus amid the Wrecking Ball singer’s split from her hubby Liam Hemsworth.

Kaitlynn had also previously called things off with her man earlier this month, after tying the knot just last year.

And it seems she has her in laws on her side, as Linda has gone and told the influencer just how much she loves her.

Taking to Instagram, the 69-year-old shared a quote, which read: ‘Please don’t judge people.

‘You don’t know what it took someone to get out of bed, look and feel presentable as possible and face the day.’

It went on: ‘You never truly know the daily struggles of others.’

Kaitlynn was quick to comment with the word ‘EXACTLY,’ yes she used the caps, and it didn’t take long for her ex-mother-in-law to reply.

After sharing a heart emoji, the former wife of Caitlyn Jenner said: ‘And for the record honey, the only “shade” I throw is my own shadow walking away from drama.

‘You know I love you. I always have & always will.’

Her comments come after she seemingly threw shade at the kissing scandal.

Following her upload, fans took to Instagram with their opinions on the situation, and Linda was seen liking some pretty questionable comments regarding Kaitlynn.

A tweet from the sitting POTUS from 19 September 2013 has begun circulating again after Miley and Liam announced that their marriage was over, and it reminds us that before Trump was announcing policies and promoting the Wall on Twitter, he was tweeting about celebrity couples.

Miley and Liam had been dating since 2009 when Liam popped the question to the Wrecking Ball singer in 2012.

But sadly, a year later, they ended their engagement (although they reunited in 2016) – and apparently, Trump was very Team Miley.

In a tweet that is still live on the Twitter account of, we stress, the President of the United States, he wrote: ‘@MileyCyrus – don’t worry about Liam. You can do much better and you have plenty of time—remain strong!’

Of course, Trump didn’t just save his commentary for Miley and Liam.

He also famously called out Kristen Stewart after she was pictured kissing director Rupert Sanders while she was dating Robert Pattinson.

In 2012, Trump tweeted: ‘Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again — just watch. He can do much better!’

He later wrote: ‘Look, it doesn’t matter– the relationship will never be the same. It is permanently broken.

‘Everyone knows I am right that Robert Pattinson should dump Kristen Stewart. In a couple of years, he will thank me. Be smart, Robert.’

Kristen addressed Trump’s bizarre obsession with her when she hosted Saturday Night Live in 2017 – coming out at the same time.

The Twilight actress said: ‘I’m a little nervous to be hosting because I know the president’s probably watching, and I don’t think he likes me that much So, yeah, that’s crazy, right?

‘The president is not a huge fan of me. But that is so okay. And Donald, if you didn’t like me then you probably really aren’t going to like me now, because I’m hosting SNL and I’m, like, so gay, dude.’

Miley previously threatened to leave the US if Trump became president – so we doubt she’s too happy with his old tweets, even if they are supporting her.

Lil Nas X has spoken about his decision to come out after he was told that being gay would ‘never be okay’.

The star has recently appeared on the cover of Time magazine, and looked pretty suave when doing so in a bright red suit and his iconic cowboy hat.

But while having all the fun with his outfit, he got pretty candid when taking some time to address his sexuality.

The 20-year-old confessed that he’d kept his cards close to his chest when being told that homosexuality would ‘never be okay.’

The star said: ‘I know the people who listen to this the most, and they’re not accepting of homosexuality.

‘I never would have done that if I wasn’t in a way pushed by the universe.’

However, after seeing the celebrations of Pride, it seems the Old Town Road hitmaker felt compelled to come out earlier this year.

‘In June, I’m seeing Pride flags everywhere and seeing couples holding hands,’ he said before adding: ‘Little stuff like that.’

Lil Nas made the announcement on Twitter where he shared a picture of the rainbow flag with the words: ‘Thought I’d made it obvious’.

Miley Cyrus, who identifies as pansexual, was quick to shower the star with support, along with thousands of his fans.

Sharing a picture of herself at this years Glastonbury next to the rapper, she wrote: ‘SO proud of my baby brother @lilnasx 🌈❤️🌈❤️ In your corner forever my friend!’

Sources told TMZ that he didn’t tell anyone in advance that he was going to come out on Twitter, but was ‘tired of being closeted’.

While the initial tweets didn’t state whether the rapper was gay, bisexual or queer, Nas has used ‘gay’ to define himself in subsequent tweets.

He also revealed that he didn’t want to hide anything from his fans when talking about his sexualtiy on BBC Breakfast.

Asked what he had recently revealed, he said: ‘That I am gay. It’s something I was considering never doing, ever. Taking to the grave.

‘But I don’t wanna live my entire life – especially how I got to where I’m at – not doing what I wanna do.’
