Miley Cyrus has reportedly been hit with a $300m (£215m) lawsuit for her track We Can’t Stop.
A Jamaican artist called Michael May, who performs under the moniker Flourgon, is claiming the singer has copied lyrics directly from his own track We Run Things, released in 1988.
In legal documents seen by People, May is alleging he penned a version of the line ‘We run things / Things don’t run we’ first before it appeared in Miley’s track We Don’t Stop, released in 2013.
