Miley Cyrus has revealed that her tears in the music video for Wrecking Ball were for her dead dog.
The controversial singer can be seen weeping in the raunchy promo and has since insisted the tears were genuine.
Miley explained to Rolling Stone: ‘That was real. My dog just passed away.’
The singer, who was slammed for twerking against Robin Thicke, also claimed she wasn’t trying to be sexy during the MTV VMAs performance last month.
