Miley Cyrus has scored her first UK chart-topping hit with We Can’t Stop.
The first single from Miley’s new album BANGERZ has won the top spot, ending the three-week run of Avicii’s Wake Me Up.
We Can’t Stop – also Cyrus’ first UK top ten hit – racked up sales of 128,000 over the past week.
This is the highest-charting single of Miley’s in Britain since 2008’s See You Again, and The Climb and Party in the USA back in 2009. All three songs peaked just one place outside the top ten.
