
Miley Cyrus is on course to top the UK charts for the first time with her new single We Can’t Stop – ending Avicii’s three week reign at the top.
According to the midweek sales figures, the 20-year-old – who first found fame in the TV series Hannah Montana – is outselling the Swedish DJ’s track Wake Me Up by two copies to one.
And not only is the song set to become Cyrus’s first UK number one, but it will also mark the first time that she has made the top 10 in the UK charts.
